Explode The TV are a four piece indie, rock band with infectious hooks and searing live performances. Their music balances thundering catchy bass riffs and addictive melodies with sparkling dreampop guitar sounds.
The lead singer Bentley Browning founded the band in 2010 and was joined by Andi Skipsey on bass in 2011.
Recent changes to the line up have seen John White join the band in 2022 on guitar and Chris Krizz on drums completing the line up in 2023.

Explode The TV’s influences include the classic post punk sounds of early U2, Echo and the Bunnymen, and the Cure, as well as a love of britpop: Suede, the Verve, and Feeder. They have recently incorporated the dreamy and abrasive sounds of post punk bands including IDLES,Thus Love, High Vis, Blondshell, and Fontaines DC.
Explode The Tv have been wowing audiences at Finsbury Park, Farm Fest, The Camden Club, Good Mixer, Macbeth, Dublin Castle and The Amersham Arms. Previous venues include O2 Islington Academy (upstairs and downstairs), The Half Moon, Barfly and The Good Ship in London.
In 2024 we had two overflowing Dublin Castle gigs, a sold out show at The Spice Of Life, Soho, two fantastic festivals The Finsbury Park Festival and Farm Fest in Herts as well as a packed album launch at the Star in Shoreditch. We finished off 2024 with a great slot at the Finsbury in Finsbury park.

2025 the band have played around the country with packed gigs at the Horn St. Albans and the Hope and Anchor, the band will be playing in Brighton, Hertfordshire, and Bristol later in the year.
